I am finally getting around to posting on my blog... It has been a busy few months for us, not so much customer wise as just a lot of office work and trying to come up with fresh ideas.
Our spice feature this month is the spice called Savory. I have never used a lot of savory in my cooking but this spice adds a new twist to meats, soups and anything cheesy. Check out the recipe using savory on the recipe page.
We are adding new healthy flours and grains to our lineup. If you have any that you would like us to carry, please let us know. The demand for healthier diets is increasing as people realize the payoffs in long term health. It seems as if we have for so long been used to eating whatever tastes good with little regard to health benefits. People are now learning to read labels with discernment. We have never used preservatives in any of our baking and have always baked "from scratch". We have almost eliminated all transfats from our items and will continue to work on new formulas to get rid of all of them in order to offer our customers a healthier product.
